Hans Donner (born July 31, 1948 in Wuppertal , Germany ) is an Austrian and designer based in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil . He received his training at the Higher Graphic Federal Teaching and Research Institute in Vienna .

At the age of 25, attracted by the exoticism of the country, he emigrated to Brazil and settled in Rio de Janeiro. His first job in his new home was at the national television station Rede Globo , for which his first job was to redesign the logo and brand. In particular, the new three-dimensional logo he introduced and the animated program transitions were very well received and received a lot of international attention. Since then he has designed numerous other designs for Rede Globo, such as the titles for numerous programs and series.

Among other things, Hans Donner designed the original logo of the first private Portuguese television station SIC . He also designs furniture and clocks. A clock designed by him for the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Brazil was installed in all the capitals of the states.

Hans Donner was also represented at many international exhibitions, for example he had a stand at the Expo 2000 in Hanover .

Hans Donner is married to the former model and the dancer Valéria Valenssa (born October 5, 1971). Until 2004 she accompanied the carnival coverage Globeleza by Rede Globo with her dance performances for over 14 years , which earned her the nickname Globeleza . The marriage between Donner and Valenssa has so far resulted in two sons.
