Hans Emser

Hans R. Emser (born October 23, 1948 - † January 25, 2020 ) was a German football coach .

Career

Emser played in the 1969/70 and 1970/71 season for FC 08 Homburg in the Regionalliga Südwest and later worked there as an assistant coach in the 2nd Bundesliga. Emser came to the Saarlanders from 1. FSV Mainz 05 .

He also organized tennis tournaments and comparisons of tennis countries, such as B. Germany (with Steffi Graf ) against Czechoslovakia or the European Mixed Masters in Saarbrücken. Among other things, Emser was part of sports manager Ion Țiriac's team for three years .

Emser worked in the youth football performance centers of Ajax Amsterdam , PSV Eindhoven , Hertha BSC , Bayer 04 Leverkusen and worked with the Olympic base in Saarbrücken ( performance diagnostics in youth football).

In 2008 Emser became head coach, technical director and head of the Junior Football Academy at the Thai Premier League club FC Bangkok Glass . As Academy Director he is responsible for all youth teams and their coaches. Thanks to his contacts with 1. FC Kaiserslautern , four Thai junior national players have been able to train in Kaiserslautern since then, and in 2010 Emsers initiated a partnership with Bayer 04 Leverkusen . Every year youth players from Bangkok Glass FC travel to Bayer 04 Leverkusen to train with German youth players of the appropriate age group.

In his first season, Emser led FC Bangkok Glass in the Thai Premier League 2009 to the top of the table and set a new record with 12 consecutive games without defeat. At his own request, Emser returned in June 2009 as technical director to the club's youth performance center, which he had set up himself a year earlier.

In 2013 Emser was also the national coach of Thailand's U-13 team.
