Hans Fiehn (born April 17, 1879 in Hanover ; † December 3, 1963 there ) was a German lawyer and notary.

Career

Hans Fiehn studied law in Göttingen, Leipzig and Marburg and received his doctorate in 1901. In 1905 he was admitted to the bar. In 1939, Fiehn was refused the title of “Justizrat” due to the personal intervention of Gauleiter Hartmann Lauterbacher on the grounds that “until recently he did not use the German greeting in the lawyers' room of the regional court ”. Furthermore, the rejection was justified by the fact that he had already blocked the implementation of National Socialist principles after 1933 and was still not positive about the people and the state. In addition, he is associated with a Jew and it took "a lot of effort to lead him to the insight that a connection between an Aryan and a Jew is impossible for a lawyer of Aryan descent".
