Hans Frank (painter, 1884)
Hans Frank (born May 13, 1884 in Vienna , † December 19, 1948 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian painter and graphic artist.
Hans Frank was a member of the Künstlerhaus from 1921 . Since his studies he was a member of the Vienna Academic Gymnastics Club. He lived in Tyrol for a few years and returned to Vienna from 1925. In his last years he withdrew to the Lungau .
Frank's works are in the Austrian Gallery and the municipal collections in the town hall (view from Belvedere, Heldenplatz, Höhenstraße), the entire graphic oeuvre in the Albertina . Among other awards, Frank received the honorary award of the City of Vienna in 1931,
The painter Leo Frank (1884–1956) was his twin brother.
