Hans Gregor (life reformer)

Harri Hans Gregor (* 1897 in Schweidnitz , † 1935 in Sobernheim ) was a German reformist and functionary of the health food movement.

Life

Gregor was a weak child who attended elementary school. In the First World War he was unsuitable. In 1919/20 he joined the Carl Huter movement for reforming life . He acquired his knowledge self-taught . In the "Association of German Reform Houses eV", which was founded in 1925 and became "Neuform. Association of German Reform Houses "was expanded, he was editor of the magazine" Das Reformhaus "(later" Reform-Rundschau "). A technical school for sales personnel with advisory training had existed since 1932 in Karl Strünckmann's sanatorium in Blankenburg (Harz) , which moved to Sobernheim in 1933. Gregor was their leader until his death. Gregor belonged to the People's Conservative Association in 1932 , and from 1933 to the leadership council of the “German Society for Life Reform”. In 1935 he died of meningitis. The funeral in Frankfurt am Main , where he had worked for a long time in the Freya health food store , gathered many life reformers who adored him as a leader. In 1955, a memorial service was held at the grave in his memory.
