Hans Höglund
Hans Höglund ( Hans Yngve "Honta" Höglund; born July 23, 1952 in Mölndal ; † October 4, 2012 in Sätila , Mark ) was a Swedish shot putter .
In 1974 he retired from qualification at the European Athletics Championships in Rome .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he finished eighth.
From 1974 to 1976 he was Swedish champion three times in a row and Swedish indoor champion in 1977. Starting for the University of Texas at El Paso , he became NCAA champions in 1973 and 1975 and NCAA indoor champions in 1973, 1974 and 1975.
