Hans Hassenteufel (born January 27, 1887 in Hamburg , † August 15, 1943 in Munich ) was a German portrait and nude painter.

Hassenteufel studied painting privately with Rudolf Jacob Zeller in Hamburg, then with Walter Thor in his private painting and drawing school in Munich and at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Peter Halm and Franz von Stuck .

After completing his studies, Hassenteufel stayed in Munich and created series of portraits of women and nudes, often in an oriental environment. He painted landscapes and still lifes less often. Many of his works appeared in print in the form of postcards.
