Hans Heinrich XVI. from Hochberg
Hans Heinrich XVI. Count von Hochberg Freiherr zu Fürstenstein (born May 19, 1874 in Rohnstock , † February 13, 1933 in Berlin ) was a German landowner and agricultural functionary.
Life
Hochberg came from a noble Silesian family . Born as the son of the diplomat, artistic director and composer Bolko von Hochberg , Hans Heinrich von Hochberg graduated from the Wilhelms-Gymnasium Berlin . He studied law at the universities of Bonn, Munich and Breslau. In 1894 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating, he joined the regiment of the Gardes du Corps . He was later sent to the embassy in Rome as a military attaché . He took over the management of his Silesian properties, in particular of the Graeflich von Hochberg'schen Familienfideikommiss Rohnstocker Linie, which he inherited in 1926. He took part in the First World War as Rittmeister of the Reserve in the West, most recently with the General Government in Brussels.
Count von Hochberg was director of the Oels-Militscher principality landscape . He was president of the Silesian Fisheries Association , chairman of the Association of German Carp and Tench Producers e. V. and member of the fisheries committee of the main chamber of agriculture .
