Hans Huebenett (born January 21, 1896 in Breslau , † November 28, 1940 in Hohensalza ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

Huebenett attended school in Breslau, where he also completed an apprenticeship. From 1914 to 1918 he was deployed in the First World War on both the Western and Eastern Fronts. Among other things, he was in the Reserve Infantry Regiment 262, most recently in the rank of lieutenant of the reserve. After the war, in which he was seriously wounded several times, he was a member of the Upper Silesian Self-Protection until 1920, when he finally retired from military service. This was followed by an activity in military associations and until 1930 Huebenett was still active as an administrative officer. In between he joined the NSDAP in 1925 and became its local group leader in Habelschwerdt in the county of Glatz . From 1929 to 1933 he was a Gau speaker for the NSDAP. In March 1933 he became a member of the Lower Silesian Provincial Parliament, where he was parliamentary group leader of the NSDAP. From November 1933 he represented constituency 7 in the National Socialist Reichstag . Huebenett was also acting mayor of the city of Liegnitz from August 1935 until he was deposed in August 1936 by Gauleiter Josef Wagner due to a lack of qualifications. He died in November 1940 in Hohensalza, where he was district leader of the NSDAP until the end. His successor in the German Reichstag was Albert Hoffmann .
