Hans Jürgen Ahrens

Hans Jürgen Ahrens (born June 30, 1941 in Hamburg ) is a German lawyer and was chairman of the AOK Federal Association from 1996 to 2008 .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1961 at the Kiel School of Academics , Ahrens completed his military service from April to September 1961. Between October 1962 and September 1967 he studied law in Graz and Kiel, which he obtained in 1971 with a doctorate in law. jur. and the 2nd state law examination.

In 1973 he trained as a branch manager at Commerzbank , but then switched to Schleswig-Holstein's regional service , where he was most recently ministerial director and head of a department in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Youth, Health and Energy with a focus on social security, labor market policy and labor jurisdiction , Social and medical occupational safety was active.

Since March 1, 1994, he was managing director of the AOK Federal Association and from January 1, 1996 to December 31, 2008, Chairman of the Board of the AOK Federal Association. Herbert Reichelt was his successor as Executive Chairman of the AOK Federal Association until 2011.
