Hans Jakob Franzenburg

Hans Jakob Franzenburg (born October 30, 1894 in Altona-Ottensen , † February 5, 1960 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1958 to 1960 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .

education and profession

After secondary school, Franzenburg did an agricultural apprenticeship in Holstein and Mecklenburg and attended the agricultural school in Hohenwestedt . He worked as an agricultural civil servant from 1918 to 1921, after which Franzenburg worked as a farmer . From 1921 to 1932 he was a tenant in the Rendsburg and Plön districts , and in 1932 he became the owner of a 30-hectare farm in Lebrade in the Plön district.

politics

Before 1933 Franzenburg was a German nationalist, he was a member of the Stahlhelm and the Landbund . From 1933 to 1947 he was involved in local politics as head of office . After the Second World War , Franzenburg joined the CDU when it was founded. From 1945 to 1946 he was head of the district farmers and in 1947 he became chairman of the Plön district farmers' association. In the state elections in 1958, Franzenburg in constituency 29 (Plön-Nord) was elected as a direct candidate for the CDU in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament. He was an MP from October 10, 1958 until his death on February 5, 1960.
