Hans Joachim Schramm

Hans Joachim Schramm (* 1930 in Halle an der Saale ) is a German goldsmith , graphic artist , journalist and author .

Life

From 1945 to 1947, Schramm completed an apprenticeship as a goldsmith at the Burg Giebichenstein Art College in his native Halle. From 1948 to 1950 he studied metal sculpture, graphics and painting at the Institute for Applied Arts at the University of Halle-Wittenberg . This was followed by numerous pictures, drawings and metalwork.

He worked for a long time as a goldsmith, graphic artist and advertising manager as well as a daily newspaper correspondent. Since the beginning of the seventies Schramm has published books on local history and legends, but also stories and short stories. He illustrates many of his books himself.
