Eva-Maria Schön
Eva-Maria Schön (* 1948 in Dresden ) is a German artist.
From 1966 to 1969 she trained as a photographer with Lore Bermbach in Düsseldorf , studied from 1970 to 1974 at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences and from 1974 to 1978 at the State Art Academy in Düsseldorf with Klaus Rinke . She has lived in Berlin since 1980 . In 1982 she was awarded the Villa Romana Prize in Florence and the Karl Schmidt-Rottluff grant in 1983/84 . Her work includes installations , performance , photography and drawings, with many of her works making use of several of these elements, such as her work Unterwasserbrücke in the Oslo Art Museum in 1999 with seven highly enlarged macro photos, Seeing and Thinking at the Berlin Art Academy in 2002 consisting of two showcases with crumpled art images and texts about art, and light 2005 , an installation with photo paper exposed to light. Drawings and photographs are often part of her performances. Her drawings are often done with troweled ink. Your concept of work is characterized by processuality.
