Hans Köhler (born February 6, 1907 in Berlin ; † May 30, 1998 in Bad Homburg vdH) was a German architect and construction clerk .

Life

Hans Köhler studied in Berlin and was a student of Peter Behrens and Hans Poelzig . Köhler worked in Berlin until 1945 and then settled in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe . It has not been proven whether the site manager, architect Köhler , who carried out the enlargement of the reception hall of the New Reich Chancellery for Albert Speer , was Hans Köhler.

Köhler was the regional building director of the State of Hesse and co-founder of the Office for Housing and Settlement in Frankfurt am Main . He was in charge of the construction of the Darmstadt State Theater and the building of the former Oberfinanzdirektion Frankfurt am Main . Norman Braun was one of his employees .
