Gunter Iberer

Gunter Iberer (born March 28, 1940 in Graz ; † February 7, 2011 ) was an Austrian professional footballer, trainer and university professor at the University of Graz .

Career

Gunter Iberer played as a professional footballer for the GAK in the seasons from 1961/62 to 1964/65 in the state league. He scored seven goals in 23 championship games. Gunter Iberer was also internationally successful as the trainer of the British national women's ski team. During his sporting career, he studied from 1958 to 1966 at the Karl-Franzens University in Graz and graduated in 1971 with a doctorate. the philosophy sub auspiciis praesidentis . From 1965 to 1968 studied at Springfield College, Springfield, Massachusetts , USA - Master of Education. 1980 habilitation as professor for educational sciences at the KFU Graz, where he was head of the center for school internships from 1968 to 1992. From 1993 Gunter Iberer was a lecturer at the Pädagogische Akademie des Bundes in Styria and since 2006 chairman of the university council of the Pädagogische Hochschule Steiermark.
