Hans Kessler (theologian, 1938)

Hans Kessler (born March 12, 1938 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German , Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

From 1957 to 1961 Kessler studied philosophy , Catholic and Protestant theology at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg . From 1972 to 2003 Kessler was professor for systematic theology ( dogmatics and fundamental theology ) at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main .

Kessler is married, has one child and lives in Werther (Westphalia) .
