Hans Kindermann (lawyer)

Hans Kindermann (born February 10, 1922 in Teplitz-Schönau , Czechoslovakia ; † November 3, 2018 ) was a German lawyer .

In the Bundesliga scandal in 1971, Hans Kindermann was chairman of the DFB control committee (since 1963) and in this function took over the investigation of the scandal. Dubbed the "DFB chief prosecutor" by the media, he cleared up the affair in which sometimes draconian penalties were pronounced against those involved.

In civil life, Hans Kindermann was a judge, most recently at the 5th Large Criminal Chamber of the Stuttgart Regional Court .

In 1992 he received the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class . In October 1992 he left the DFB control committee. Kindermann was an honorary member of the German Football Association.
