career

Hans Krämer, the older brother of the later national soccer player Werner Krämer , rose with Meidericher SV in the 1950/51 season as champions of the II. Division West, Group 1, directly to the Oberliga West. Schwarz-Weiß Essen, Duisburger FV 08 and SV Sodingen landed in the places. Together with center forward and striker Karl Hetzel , the winger formed a dreaded storm duo. Kramer hit the flanks, Hetzel completed it. As a climber, the MSV came in eighth place in 1951/52 . Krämer had supplied the striker Hetzel with flanks in 29 missions from the wing, which he used to 25 goals. Krämer had scored nine hits. On the first day of play, August 19, 1951, Hans Krämer made his debut in the away game at Preußen Münster in the Oberliga West. After finishing fourth in the second season with MSV in the league, the winger got an offer from Schalke 04 and moved to Gelsenkirchen in 1953 after 54 games with 16 goals for Meiderich.

In the Royal Blues, he experienced the fight for the championship in the first round in 1953/54. The trio 1. FC Köln, Rot-Weiss Essen and Schalke 04 fought a bitter competition for the title in the Oberliga West in 1954 . The newcomer from Meiderich played all 30 games for Schalke and scored 13 goals. On the last match day, April 1, 1954, Schalke lost the away game at RW Essen in front of 36,000 spectators with 2: 4 goals and ended up in third place. 1. FC Köln became champions with 41:19 points, one point ahead of Essen and two points ahead of Schalke. The strong Schalke wing tongs were made by Bernhard Klodt and Hans Krämer. On the third day of the match, the man from Meiderich celebrated his first success against his old club with a 4-1 win. His achievements in the club were honored by being appointed to the B national team on March 24, 1954 at the international match in Gelsenkirchen against England. In the 4-0 defeat, Schalke club colleagues Otto Laszig and Hans Krämer formed the left wing of the DFB team. In his third Schalke season, 1955/56 , he won the runner-up in the west when he was 04, making it into the finals of the 1956 German soccer championship. In 29 games he had scored nine goals. Kramer played all seven finals. Karlsruher SC reached the final with 7: 5 points, ahead of Schalke and 1. FC Kaiserslautern. The Schalke attack consisted of Bernhard Klodt, Otto Laszig, Helmut Sadlowski , Helmut Jagielski and Hans Krämer in the final round . When Schalke 04 won the West Championship in the 1957/58 season, the ex-Meidericher lost his regular place due to injury. He only made eight appearances and two goals in the major league. In the final round, Schalke won the German championship in 1958, he was no longer used. After 115 games with 42 goals, Krämer ended his work at Schalke in 1958 and signed a new contract with Duisburger SV for the 1958/59 round.

His brother Werner made his debut with Meidericher SV on March 8, 1959 in the Oberliga West, but it was not until the 1959/60 season on match day 19, January 17, 1960, at the home game against MSV for a brother duel. Seasoned Hans stormed the left wing for DSV and the hopeful talent Werner pulled the strings in Meiderich's storm game on half left. When the DSV was relegated from the Oberliga West in the 1961/62 season, Hans Krämer had only been able to play the first four association games of the round and ended his higher-class career in 1962. From 1958 to 1962 he had played 69 games with nine goals for Duisburger SV.
