Hans Lauber (born May 2, 1935 in Odžaci , then Kingdom of Yugoslavia ) is a German teacher . As the founder and chairman of the Heimatbund Schloss Pertenstein , he is the initiator of numerous cultural initiatives in Chiemgau .

Life

In his birthplace Odžaci (Serbia) he attended a German-Hungarian school until he fled his homeland in October 1944. In 1947 he passed the entrance exam for the grammar school in Passau and after graduating from high school he studied at the teacher training institute Pasing . In 1963 he came to Traunwalchen as a teacher , where he worked at today's Carl Orff primary school in Traunwalchen until his retirement . In 1965 he co-founded the Traunwalchen Singing and Music School , which is considered to be the nucleus of several similar institutions in the Traunstein district . With some like-minded people, Lauber then founded the Heimatbund Schloss Pertenstein in 1969 . It began with the careful restoration of the castle in Pertenstein that by the owner, the counts Toerring , the club on long lease had been handed over. Today the castle is a cultural and meeting place with a special connection to the composer Carl Orff . Many of his works have been performed here with great success, and an international Orff exhibition is located there. On Lauber's initiative, the Orff 95 association and an academy for music, dance and theater were also founded.

In addition to his lively construction activity, which includes many other projects in and around the former Hofmark Pertenstein and the Frauenbrunn chapel in Traunwalchen, he also works as a choir director and composer. Hans Lauber organized several aid projects at his birthplace in what is now Serbia.
