Hans-Ludwig Neumann
Hans-Ludwig Neumann (* 1938 in East Prussia ; † January 26, 1991 ) was a German physicist . In 1958 he graduated from high school in Offenbach and in 1965 he took the first state examination in physics. From 1976 to 1990 he was president of the Physikalischer Verein , which he joined in 1963. The Hans-Ludwig-Neumann-Preis , the Hans-Ludwig-Neumann-Observatory and the asteroid (243109) Hansludwig are named after him. Neumann was a teacher at the Helene-Lange School and at the Friedrich-Dessauer-Gymnasium in Frankfurt am Main , where he was director of studies .
