Hans Lukas

Hans Lukas (born August 26, 1935 in Döltsch ; † February 11, 2017 in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Lukas attended elementary school and trained in the agricultural profession. He was active in the rural youth movement for over 20 years, including many years as district and diocesan chairman. From 1959 he was involved in the Bavarian Farmers' Association, first as a rural youth representative in the district executive committee, then as deputy district chairman in the district executive committee and in the state assembly of the BBV. He was chairman of the Neustadt administrative community and the Upper Palatinate fishermen's association.

Lukas was a member of the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district council from 1966 and mayor of the home parish of Kirchendemenreuth from 1972 to 2002 . In addition, he was district chairman of the Junge Union and the CSU in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district for many years . From 1970 to 1994 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
