Hans Nilsson-Ehle
Hans Nilsson-Ehle (born July 17, 1910 in Svalöv , † March 18, 1983 in Lund ) was a Swedish Romance scholar and linguist.
Life
Hans Nilsson-Ehle was the son of Herman Nilsson-Ehle . He received his doctorate in Lund in 1941 on Les adverbes en -ment compléments d'un verbe en français moderne. Etude de classement syntaxique et sémantique (Lund 1941). From 1957 to 1977 he held the chair for Romance languages at the University of Gothenburg . In addition to linguistics, he was interested in music. He played the violin himself and was a member of the “Lunds orkesterförening” for 20 years.
