Hans O. Staub
Hans O. Staub (born September 22, 1922 in Davos ; † August 29, 1998 in Zollikon ) was a Swiss journalist and author .
Life
From 1945 to 1949 Hans O. Staub studied history at the University of Zurich . His journalistic career began in 1946 as an editor at the Neuen Winterthurer Tagblatt . Dust worked as a France correspondent for the Tages-Anzeiger and Swiss Radio DRS from 1951 to 1962 . Until 1965 he headed the foreign editorial department of the Tages-Anzeiger , then he came to Swiss television , where he founded and co-hosted the weekly magazine Rundschau . From 1970 to 1983 he was editor-in-chief of Weltwoche , then until 1986 its publisher.
Hans Staub has the "O." (Oskar, his middle name) added to the name in order not to be confused with the then very well-known photographer Hans Staub.
