Hanns Peurlin the Middle

Hanns Peurlin the Middle , also: Hans Beierlein, John Peurlin, Hanns Peurlin the Middle (* around 1440 in Augsburg ?; † around 1507 ? In Augsburg) was a sculptor at the transition from late Gothic and Renaissance and has in Augsburg a specialized workshop for high-ranking marble epitaphs operated.

Life

Hanns Peurlin the Middle was the son of a father of the same name, who is called the elder to differentiate himself, and ran a sculptor's workshop in Augsburg. The first work can be traced back to 1483, and he should have died soon after 1507.
