Hans Rambold

Hans Rambold (born May 9, 1954 in Buchbach ) is a German local and state politician ( CSU ). From 1998 to 2008 he was the first mayor of the Buchbach community and from 2003 to 2008 he was a member of the Bavarian state parliament .

Career

After graduating from high school and completing military service, Rambold trained as a textile business administrator ( BTE ). He has been an independent retailer in his hometown since 1980.

His political career began in 1972 when he joined the CSU. After the municipal elections in 1984, he took over a political mandate in the Buchbach municipal council for the first time. From 1990 to 1998 he was the second mayor there and from 1998 to 2008 he was the first mayor. From 2002 on, he also held a mandate in the district council of the Mühldorf a.Inn district.

In the state elections in September 2003, he entered the Bavarian state parliament for the first time via the party list in the constituency of Upper Bavaria . There he was chairman of the school and science committee, member of the committee for submissions and complaints as well as member of the committee for education, youth and sport.

In the state elections in 2008 , he was not able to return to the state parliament as a candidate on the list of the Upper Bavaria district due to the heavy loss of votes by the CSU.

Rambold is a reserve officer with the rank of lieutenant colonel .

He is married and has two children.
