Hans Rose (politician)

Hans Rose (born December 27, 1920 in Braunschweig ; † December 24, 2005 ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After the end of elementary school, Hans Rose attended secondary school and in 1939 obtained his university entrance qualification. He then completed an apprenticeship in agriculture. During the Second World War he did military service from 1940 to 1943, after which he worked as a farmer again. He applied for admission on April 18, 1940, and had been a member of the NSDAP since September 1, 1942 ( membership number 9.554.379). After the end of the war, he took over his parents' farm in 1951, continued his education and became an agricultural master in 1955 .

Rose joined the CDU in 1960. He took on various positions in agricultural organizations, including chairing the Wolfenbüttel district association and becoming a district farmer . From 1948 to 1974 he was a member of the Volzum parish council, where he became mayor and parish director in 1953. From 1965 to 1974 he was a council member and mayor of the joint municipality of Dettum . He was also a member of the Wolfenbüttel district council.

From January 24, 1973 to June 20, 1974 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (7th electoral term) and from February 14, 1978 to June 20, 1978 in the 8th electoral term.
