Klaus Hubert Görg

Klaus Hubert Görg (* 1940 in Düsseldorf ) is a German lawyer and business lawyer . He is the eponymous partner of the law firm GÖRG Rechtsanwälte with more than 290 lawyers at five locations in Germany.

Life and accomplishments

Studies and PhD

Klaus Hubert Görg studied law at the Universities of Marburg, Munich and Cologne. In 1959 he was a member of the Catholic student association VKDSt. Rhenania Marburg joined in CV . Career

Görg initially worked as an association lawyer. From 1972 he was admitted to the bar in Cologne in the field of bankruptcy and settlement law. In 2009 Görg was appointed as insolvency administrator for the insolvency proceedings of Arcandor AG , Karstadt Warenhaus GmbH , Quelle GmbH and Primondo GmbH . Görg and his staff received remuneration of 32.3 million euros from the Essen District Court for this activity ; Seven creditors appealed to the court against the amount.

The law firm is headquartered in Cologne. The annual turnover of the group in 2009 was around 54 million euros. Today Görg Rechtsanwälte is one of the largest German commercial law firms.

Among other things, Görg is a member of the German Lawyers 'Association , the German Lawyers' Association and international associations.

Private

Görg lives in Rösrath near Cologne, is married and has four children.
