Hans Rudolf Balmer

Hans Rudolf Balmer (born December 20, 1899 in Laupen ; † December 28, 1993 in Bern ) was a Swiss teacher and dialect writer .

Life

Balmer was a teacher in Aeschi near Spiez and in Bern for a long time , from 1959 to 1976 weekly columnist for the Emmentaler newspaper and co-founder of the Bern writers' association . He wrote dialect plays; one of his best-known pieces is Ds Sühniswyb from 1944. Balmer's estate is in the Bern Burger Library .
