Hans Salt

Hans Salz (* 1905 ; † April 13, 1972 in Paderborn ) was a German athlete who was successful as a sprinter in the late 1920s .

In 1928 he won the German championship over 4 x 100 meters together with Ernst Geerling , Eugen Eldracher and Adolf Metzger . The team started for Eintracht Frankfurt .

In 1927 and 1929, Salz came 11th and 4th on the world's best list with 100 meter times of 10.7 and 10.5 s, respectively.

After his active career, Salz worked as an ear, nose and throat doctor in Paderborn. He was a member of SC Grün-Weiß Paderborn and co-founder of the German Olympic Society in the Paderborn Monastery.
