Hans Storck (District Administrator)

Hans Storck (born February 2, 1899 in Trier , † August 20, 1954 in Bad Kissingen ) was a German district administrator.

Life

After attending elementary school and grammar school in Trier , Hans Storck moved to Bonn grammar school, where he graduated from high school on September 1, 1917. This was followed by a law degree in Münster and Bonn . On August 8, 1921, he received his doctorate in Bonn, after he became a trainee lawyer at the Cologne Higher Regional Court in June 1921 . A year later he switched to administration and was a government trainee in Cologne. As a government assessor, Storck was transferred to the Calbe District Office on October 6, 1924 .

From June 1925 onwards at the Essen District Office, he was called up as an unskilled worker in the Prussian Ministry of the Interior in October 1925 , transferred to the Prussian Building and Finance Directorate in Berlin in August 1926 and appointed to the government council in December 1927 . On June 1, 1932, Storck was commissioned to manage the Iserlohn District Office on a representative basis, and on October 31, 1932, he was finally appointed District Administrator of the Iserlohn district . Already in January 1935 he was drafted into the Reich Ministry of the Interior. Here he was on February 24, 1936 Ministerialrat in Department V - Municipal Department. Because of his appointment as head of the Brandenburg Savings Banks and Giro Association, he was dismissed from his post on January 1, 1939. From late autumn 1939 to spring 1945, he was the special order of the Ministry of Economics Commissioner of the Reich Governor in Wartheland for the establishment of German savings banks and one savings banks' association in the Reich Wartheland. From 1942 to 1945 he was assigned to the Economic Staff East and the Reich Ministry of Economics as a military administrative officer. In 1947 he worked for an economic consultancy. Later he was assistant and finance director of the German Association of Cities and also a member of the German Savings Banks and Giro Association . Storck joined the NSDAP on May 1, 1933 . In the denazification process , the Düsseldorf District Court classified him in Category IV (Follower).
