Hans Vollhardt

Hans Vollhardt (born July 5, 1938 in Offenbach am Main ) is a German local politician.

Career

In 1971 Vollhardt joined the CSU. From 1972 to 1994 he was first mayor of the city of Ebersberg . Since 1972 he has sat for the CSU in the district council of the Ebersberg district , since 1973 Vollhardt has been a member of the local executive committee of the CSU Ebersberg and from 1977 to 2011 he was on the party's district executive.

In 1994 Vollhardt followed Hermann Beham as district administrator after he had to resign for health reasons. Vollhardt remained in this office until 2002. Gottlieb Fauth followed him as the new district administrator.

In 2001 Vollhardt founded the Seniors' Union in the Ebersberg district and remained its district chairman until 2009. In April 2018 Vollhardt resigned from the CSU due to the election of Markus Söder as Bavarian Prime Minister.

Vollhardt is married and has two children. He is of the Evangelical Lutheran faith.
