Remigius Streibl

Remigius Streibl (* around 1910 in Ebersberg ; † 1999 or 2000 ) was a German, non-party local politician.

Career

Streibl was the son of a pastry chef. In the early 1930s he was a trainee lawyer , including at the Ebersberg District Court. In 1949 Streibl returned home from the war . As a doctor of law, he was Councilor at the government of Upper Bavaria and in 1952 as a non-party member of the Bavaria Party and the Federation of Expellees situated to the local elections. Streibl was elected with 51.98% against Alois Keßler, who had been appointed by the Americans up to this point, as district administrator for the district of Ebersberg . In 1958, when he was re-elected, Streibl received 97.6% and in 1964 even 99%. For reasons of age, Streibl had to end his political career in 1978. He was followed as district administrator by his previous deputy, Hermann Beham of the CSU . On January 5, 2000, Streibl was buried in Ebersberg.
