Hans Desert Villages

Hans Wüstendörfer (born November 27, 1875 in Wandsbek ; † June 11, 1951 in Bad Orb ) was a German legal scholar.

Life

After graduating from high school in Wandsbek in 1893, he studied law in Lausanne , Munich and Berlin from 1893 to 1897 . From 1897 to 1901 he was a trainee lawyer in Wandsbek, Altona and Kiel . From 1902 he was a court assessor in Wandsbek and Kiel, working in Hamburg shipping and ship brokerage offices. From 1903 to 1904 he attended the Academy for Social and Commercial Sciences . From 1906 to 1910 he was a private lecturer at the Cologne Commercial College . From 1910 to 1911 he was a private lecturer at the University of Würzburg . From 1911 to 1919 he was a professor of German law, civil law and commercial law at the University of Rostock . From 1919 to 1942 he was professor for commercial and shipping law, civil law and private law at the University of Hamburg . In 1942 he retired .
