Life

The son of an official of the Danube Steamship Company was destined for the merchant class, but he took lessons from Eduard and Franz Kierschner , and after barely a year of studies he entered the stage for the first time in 1870 as "Kosinsky" in Amsterdam, worked in Dortmund in 1871 and 1872, from 1872 to 1873 in Mainz, from 1873 to 1874 at the Berlin National Theater (inaugural role "Mortimer"), 1875 in Leipzig (inaugural role "Bruno" in "Müller und seine Sohn"), from 1876 to 1877 Hoftheater Kassel (inaugural role "Carlos") and joined the Association of the Munich Court Theater in 1878.

In 1901 he was still (or again) in Munich , in 1907 in Salzburg , where he was also employed as a game master. He can then be traced back to Graz as a director and actor until the 1920s .

Pindo was married to Marie Raabe . Both daughter Hedwig von Pindo also became actresses.
