Hans von Rumohr

Hans von Rumohr (born December 10, 1675 at Gut Rundhof ; † January 1719 ) was district administrator in Schleswig and Holstein .

Life

He was the son of Henning von Rumohr (1651-1715), lord of the noble estates Drillt, Ohrfeld and Rundhof and his wife Margaretha Dorothea née von Ahlefeldt (1657-1720) and was born on December 10, 1675 on Gut Rundhof. Hans von Rumohr studied at the University of Leipzig in 1694 and later traveled a few years through France and Italy. He then became a chamberlain and stable master with the widow of Elector Johann Georg III. of Saxony and later court master and chamberlain . After his return he became district administrator in Schleswig and Holstein in 1709 and married Anna Metta von Ahlefeldt (born March 21, 1682) on January 8, 1709, the daughter of Benedikt von Ahlefeldt (1650-1712). Herr auf Osterrade and his wife Cathanna born von Buchwaldt († 1685). In September 1718 he acquired the Aschau estate and died in January 1719. He was buried on January 29, 1719 in the St. Nikolaikirche in Eckernförde .
