Harald B. Giesel
Harald B. Giesel (born May 19, 1939 in Ulm ; † October 28, 2012 ) was a German manager and economist .
After the study of economics at the University of Freiburg he earned his doctorate in 1968 at the Ruhr-University Bochum . He then took up a job at Ruhrkohle AG (RAG), where he held the post of board spokesman. In parallel, Gieselmann issued in 1976 as a lecturer at the Economics Faculty of the Ruhr-University Bochum lectures in the fields of energy and energy policy. In 1990 he was made an honorary professor in recognition of this teaching activity.
Giesel lived in Essen.
