Harald Bosio (born January 2, 1906 in Judenburg , † December 2, 1980 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian cross-country skier , ski jumper and Nordic combined athlete who was active in the 1920s and 1930s. The trained dentist competed for the State Ski Association for Vienna and Lower Austria.

Career

Bosio first took part in the Winter Olympics in St. Moritz in 1928 . In the Nordic Combined, he finished 29th. At the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , he competed in two disciplines. In 18 km cross-country skiing, Bosio was the best Austrian with 21st place, while he was 29th again in Nordic Combined. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Innsbruck in 1933 , Bosio won the bronze medal in the Nordic Combined; his greatest sporting success and at the same time the first medal for Austria at a Nordic World Ski Championships . In 1936 he was 28th in the 18 km run at the Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and finished eighth in the 4 × 10 km relay.
