Harald Herlofson
Harald Herlofson (born February 18, 1887 in Arendal , † November 17, 1957 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian rower .
He took part in the Olympic Games in 1912 for his home country in eighth place . His team with the other rowers Einar Sommerfeldt, Thomas Høie, Olaf Solberg, Gustav Hæhre, Hannibal Fegth, Gunnar Grantz, Otto Krogh and John Bjørnstad started for the Christiania Roklub from Oslo. In the first round of the Olympic rowing regatta, however, she was defeated by the later silver medalist from New College in Oxford , Great Britain. The regatta was held in the knockout system on Djurgårdsbrunnsviken bay near Stockholm .
His brother was the footballer Charles Herlofson .
