Djurgårdsbrunnsviken is an elongated bay in the Baltic Sea that extends far into the urban area of Stockholm .

Djurgårdsbrunnsviken is bounded in the west by the Djurgårdsbron bridge and to the east it merges into the Djurgårdsbrunn Canal . The bay is between the Östermalm district in the north and the island of Djurgården in the south.

There are some interesting buildings and facilities around Djurgårdsbrunnsviken. In the south, on Djurgården, there is the open-air museum Skansen , in the north on the Östermalm side there are other museums, such as the Technical Museum ( Tekniska museet ) and the Maritime Museum ( Sjöhistoriska museet ), as well as the exclusive villa complex Diplomatstaden , the diplomatic quarter of Stockholm.
