The Stockholms Fältrittklubb is a riding club and equestrian facility in the Swedish capital Stockholm .
history
The club was founded in 1886 by Prince Carl , Prince Oscar and Prince Eugen, as well as 20 officers from Stockholm and two secretaries from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 1887 King Oscar II gave the club permission to set up a riding course in the Storängen area . It was on this area of the club that the eventing competitions took place during the 1912 Summer Olympics .
