Barkarby is a town in the Swedish municipality of Järfälla in the province of Stockholm County . Barkarby has grown together with Stockholm and is therefore part of the Stockholm crime scene .

During the 1912 Summer Olympics , eventing in the modern pentathlon was held in Barkarby.
