Harald Kosch

Harald Kosch (* 1968 in Munich ) is a German computer scientist .

Life

Kosch studied computer science with a minor in electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich . There he wrote his intermediate diploma . At the Université Claude Bernard in Lyon , Kosch did Maîtrise and DEA in computer science.

From September 1993 to March 1997 he was a research assistant at the École normal supérieure in Lyon and then at the University of Klagenfurt , where he also completed his habilitation and received the “ venia docendi ”. In May 2002 Kosch became an associate professor at the Institute of Information Technology at the University of Klagenfurt.

On March 1, 2006, Harald Kosch became professor for distributed information systems at the University of Passau . From 2009 to 2011 he was Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics (FIM) and thus a member of the extended university management.
