The Hardwood River is a river in the extreme southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source on the southern slopes of View Hill in the northern part of Southwest National Park , west of Lake Pedder . From there it flows south-southeast and flows into the Davey River between Frankland Range and Popstring Range .
