Harm Rykena

Harm Rykena (born September 16, 1963 in Bremerhaven ) is a German politician ( AfD ). In the state elections in 2017 he was elected to the Lower Saxony state parliament.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1983, Harm Rykena completed his military service until 1985. He then studied at the TU Braunschweig . In 1986 he moved to the University of Hanover . In 1991 he passed the first state examination for teaching at elementary and secondary schools. After his preparatory service and the second state examination in Hanover , he worked as a teacher in the district of Cloppenburg , from 2000 to 2017 as vice-principal of the Ahlhorn elementary school .

Rykena is divorced, has three children and lives in Ahlhorn, a district of Großenkneten in the Oldenburg district .

politics

Harm Rykena joined the Alternative for Germany (AfD) in 2013 . Since then he has been a member of the board of the district association " Oldenburg Land , Wesermarsch and Delmenhorst ". From 2014 to 2015 he was district chairman, since then he has been deputy district chairman.

Harm Rykena has been a member of the municipality council of Großenkneten since 2016 .

In the state elections in 2017 , he ran as a direct candidate in the constituency of Oldenburg-Land and ranked 9th on the AfD state list. Because of his place on the list, he entered the state parliament.
