Harold Bratt (born October 8, 1939 in Salford ) is a retired English football player .

Career

Bratt was one of the outstanding players of his age group during his school days and made it up to the English national school team before joining Manchester United in 1955 at the age of 15 . In 1957 he was the left wing runner with the United youth team in the final of the FA Youth Cup and won with the team through the final success against West Ham United (3: 2 and 5: 0) Manchester's fifth title in a row in this competition. After he received a professional contract in November 1957, he came to his first and only competitive game for United on November 2, 1960 in the 1: 2 defeat by Bradford City in a league cup game. After the 1960/61 season, Bratt moved to the Fourth Division for the Doncaster Rovers , for which he completed a total of 54 league games in the following two seasons. He then continued his career in non-league football at FC Altrincham .
