Harold E. Stine

Harold E. Stine (born September 21, 1903 in Chino , California , † November 2, 1977 in Los Angeles , California) was an American cameraman .

Life

Stine began working in the film business as a sound engineer in the late 1920s. During the 1940s and early 1950s, he was involved in the visual and special effects for various film projects. In 1951 he turned to camera work. As a cameraman, Stine worked primarily for television series.

In 1973 Stine was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Cinematography for his work on The Poseidon's Hell Ride .

In 1955 and 1959 he was nominated for an Emmy .
