Harold Hecht
Harold Hecht (born June 1, 1907 in New York , † May 26, 1985 in Beverly Hills ) was an American film producer .
Together with actor Burt Lancaster and producer James Hill , Hecht ran the film production company Hecht-Hill-Lancaster . With this they were, among other things, involved in the cinema films Your fate in my hand , U 23 - Tödliche Tiefen and Marty - for which Hecht received an Oscar for the best film as the producer of the film . Your production company had a distribution agreement with the film company United Artists .
His son, Ernst Hecht, still maintains a private family archive about Harold Hecht.
