Harold Ian Miltner

Harold Ian "Harry" Miltner (born July 25, 1970 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish-Austrian writer and sports consultant .

Miltner studied English and American studies , political science , geography and sports management in Innsbruck, London, Edinburgh and Chicago. After his sporting career in ice hockey, roller hockey and soccer, he switched to World Soccer Magazine as a correspondent and eventually became head of sport for Central Europe at Associated Press and then Reuters . Among other things, he was deputy press officer at the 2005 Ice Hockey World Championship in Austria.

With his company HM Sports , founded in 2003, he is active worldwide as a sports consultant in the field of sponsorship and contracting . The agency is mainly active in Formula 1, MotoGP, other racing series, as well as in football and ice hockey. He is also the editor of the Formula Austria racing portal and guest lecturer at several universities and colleges.

Miltner is a Scottish Laird , ancestral to the Campbell of Argyll clan , and a descendant of the Austro-Hungarian noble families Okolicsanyi and Balogh de Galantha.
