Harp Island (from English harp 'harp' ) is a small island in the archipelago of the Biscoe Islands off the Graham coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It lies between the islands of Beer Island and Upper Island and 13 km west of Prospect Point in front of Holtedahl Bay .
Participants of the British Graham Land Expedition (1934-1937) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer John Rymill mapped them and made the naming. It is named after the shape of the island, which is reminiscent of a harp .
