Upper Island (literally translated from English Upper Island ) is a narrow island in the Biscoe Islands archipelago off the Graham coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located between the islands of Cliff Island and Harp Island and 13 km west of Prospect Point on the north side of Mutton Cove .
Participants of the British Graham Land Expedition (1934-1937) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer John Rymill mapped them and made the naming.
